Austria, Japan share $3 million in farming tech with Kurdistan

By Rudaw 5/12/2017
-
Japan and Austria delivered equipment to 10 of the top farmers in the Balisan Valley area of the Kurdistan Region.

The farmers are seeking more such assistance from countries of the world.

The farmers' main aim is to compete with imported products.

Some want chilled storage for products in order to market beyond when they are ripe in the fall.
