Doors open to new school year across Kurdistan Region
Doors opened to a new school year across the Kurdistan Region on Monday with more than 1.7 million students heading to classes since the Region held a referendum on independence.
According to education officials, some 150,000 first-year students are among the 1.7 million.
Schools also opened in Kirkuk today.
Nearly 7,000 schools accommodate the 2017/18 school year.
