Poet in Amude preserves Kurdish heritage in home museum

By Rudaw 6/11/2017
-
Naaman Gunash, a Kurdish poet is known for collecting historical objects and antiques. He has set up a small museum in his home

Gunash at the same time teaches people the Kurdish language and prose and introduces his students to heritage and Kurdish history.

He believes writing and antiques both preserve Kurdish history

In addition to old used objects of Amude, it also includes 500 historical pieces. The oldest is a wooden chest which was his mother’s wedding present a hundred years ago.
