ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Kurdistan Region’s electoral commission has created a website providing polling booth location information for voters ahead of this month’s referendum.

Registered voters can enter their ration card number and province of residence in order to locate their names and the address of the polling station where they can cast a ballot on September 25.

The website is in Kurdish language only and provides information for voters living in the provinces of the Kurdistan Region and Kurdistani areas: Erbil, Halabja/Sulaimani, Duhok, Kirkuk, Nineveh, Diyala, and Saladin.

The commission is updating its database so the details of those who have recently registered or those who have submitted a change of address may not immediately appear.

Overseas voters will cast their ballots online.
