KIFRI, Kurdistan Region — Five unnamed Islamic State militants surrendered themselves to Kurdish Peshmerga forces Sunday, Kurdish officials told Rudaw.

“They surrendered themselves through their tribal chief, and are now under investigation by Kurdish forces,” Osman Abdulkarim, a Kifri security forces spokesman, said.

Abdulkarim added that the militants also handed over their weapons.

Located in Sulaimani province, Kifri is a small town that had a population of 42,000 in 2003, and a Turkmen majority. Authorities did not identify the ethnicity of the militants who turned themselves in.

Have no mercy on these devils! Slaughter them as you deem fit.

Yes, and be just like ISIS. Great job, keep the wheel of death, destruction, and violence going forever, ISIS destroyer. I think your name should be "ISIS creator."

And what if these men are conscripts/forced to "fight" and there wives and family threatened if they didn't fight. So your only chance is too agree but surrender/MIA as soon as you could without firing a shot. Let the interrogators figure it out, don't be so quick to judge. If most of ISIS conscripts surrendered and they new the Peshmerga to be fair, honorable, and merciful this war would end quicker. My 2 cents

this kind of peoples has to be in the hell.

No slaughtering, if they're handeled in a human civilized way more of them would surrender, many more. Human way doesn't mean that they're let loose or escape justice by the way.

I disagree. A no fly zone is exactly that, a zone that prohibits certain aircraft from flying in that zone. In Iraq, its purpose was to prevent Iraqi...
