By Rudaw 16/4/2015

ERBIL Kurdistan Region - Since last month, military experts from coalition forces have been training some 600 Peshmerga in its first-ever training in urban warfare.

Now, in addition to the their experience in the ISIS war, the Peshmerga have experience in the street-and-alley fighting with the latest techniques and military intelligence.

The training included the tactics and battle strategy as well as how to defend positions and deal with medical  emergencies.

"I dare say 100 percent the Peshmerga have benefited from the training over the past four weeks. It is the first time a regiment from the Peshmerga ministry has been involved in a training course directly supervised by the coalition forces," a Peshmerga official told Rudaw.

A warm thank you to all those countries that are providing our troops with arms, logistics and training. All Peshmerga need to get this course, and a more advance course should follow.

In my country military in Kurdistan write in newspapers about the high motivation of the Peshmerga, the excellent cooperation and warm personal relations. Soldiers that have to go back home would like to return to Kurdistan as soon as possible. It has nothing to do with diplomacy or politics, since military at all levels have these stories.

The Peshmerga who have fought in Kobane could probably teach some lessons about urban combat. There is a handheld device used by police that can be held against a wall and it will tell you the distance and direction to a beating heart that is behind the wall. It uses doppler radar.

We need heavy artillery not rifles and combat training. It's not enough. More tanks is needed in Kurdistan so we can run these ISIS scum buckets all the way back to their camels in the Sahara deserts and bulldoze their Mecca so no one even bothers to visit. This is why this world is full of hate because their filthy pilgrimages of hate, dare I say...yes I dare 😂 and I said it 💪🙏

Kurdish Patriot, you're an idiot, dare I say, yes I dare and I said it. It's fools like you who are just like the fools who join isis. You don't understand the destructive effect of your behavior? Are we not divided enough from before? Use your brain properly and you'll figure it out by yourself.
