Young Kurds debate: Is time right for the referendum?

By Rudaw 18/9/2017
.
Sitting in Erbil’s historic citadel, claimed to be the oldest continuously-inhabited site, a group of young professional Kurds came together to discuss the formation of possibly the world’s newest country.

A lot of discussion going on in Kurdistan as the September 25 referendum date approaches is about what kind of state they want and how to achieve that. Young professionals like the four participating in this debate are key to this process of state-building.
