Kurdish people participate in local elections in Iran

Kurdish people from Iran in Mariwan turned to ballot boxes to participate in the 12th round of presidential elections.

It was also the fifth elections for city and village councils since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Most parties of east Kurdistan boycotted presidential elections and asked its member not to participate in the presidential elections.


Kurds still widely participated in the local elections.
