Nobody explained the consequences of Brexit to the British people: French President Emmanuel Macron said. That is right. They did not do that in Brexit, Catalonia nor Kurdistan. But nobody in the first two had attacked the ordinary citizens with chemical weapons, obliterated thousands of villages, and had put children live in mass graves for two generations. Neither in those two was the vote for exit so overwhelming, 92.7%.

Resolve disputed territories in accordance with the constitution, Kurds have been asking for that for ten years! The statement above by the State Dept. is welcome news!

I think the KRG did not anticipate the Iraqi Army to be this powerful. Coadministration of these areas would have been best result. The KRG should have accepted the offer of coadministration of these areas from Iraqi government. It is clear zeravani and pdk trooos were not ready or a match for a fight with Iraqi government without the coalition.

If Kurds could be guaranteed the 17% from total of Iraqs oil revenue which gets deposited in New York under Iraq Development Fund (IDF) through a direct transfer of these funds from New York to the Kurds, this may solve a big problem and will facilitate a very effective partnership between Arbil and Baghdad in increasing Iraq's export output of oil and gas! Payments to IOCs could come out of the 17% with the balance transferred to the Kurds.

Words, words, words. Disable the US weaponry in Iranian-proxy-Iraq's hands immediately. Or admit you are siding with them, Trump. We know there are fail-safes built into these tanks and other weapons. Use them NOW. Stop just talking and waffling.
