ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Kurdistan Region’s security body has many questions about the “suspicious” transfer of hundreds of ISIS militants from the Syria-Lebanon border area to Syria’s border with Iraq.

“According to an agreement between ISIS terrorists, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Syrian regime, hundreds of ISIS militants left the Lebanese border areas and were taken with their arms and ammunition toward the Iraqi border areas,” the Kurdistan Region Security Council said in a statement released Tuesday.

“We as the Region’s Security Council express our concerns about this action and consider it suspicious. This raises many questions.  We hope that all relevant parties in the region take a serious stance on this action,” it added.

ISIS agreed to a ceasefire on two fronts on the Lebanon-Syria border region with the Lebanese army on one front and Hezbollah and the Syrian army on the other, ending a week-long confrontation.

The ceasefire took effect on Sunday and saw a convoy of 308 militants with small arms and 331 civilians leave the border area under Syrian army escort.

They are being relocated to Al Bukamal on the Iraq-Syria border in eastern Deir ez-Zur province, part of the middle Euphrates River valley, home to the largest concentration of ISIS militants in Iraq and Syria.

The evacuation of the militants ends ISIS presence on the border. As part of the deal, ISIS will hand over one Hezbollah captive and the bodies of some Hezbollah fighters as well as one Iranian killed in Syria, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised address.

Don't you see what they're trying to do? Making Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan suffer more from the hands of the terrorist scum. Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan should immediately act together upon this security threat and thwart it before its too late and more of your soldiers die in vain. This is Iran's game to prolong the suffering of Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan.

Kurdistan Region should raise and address officially appropriately and professionally grounded questions to USA and Russia in order to ask Wshington and Moscow take their.very serious stance on this very suspicious action, which is contrary to the main objectives of the international struggle against the radical terrorism and extremism.

They shouldn't transfer these stupid animals anywhere except to a hole in the ground.

Some thing stink's here , are we to believe that the Army of Lebanon is unable to deal with 308 terrorist's ? And what of hezbollah , a group that claim's it can beat the Army of Israel , yet it can not even beat 308 terrorist's ? And why was this convoy across Syria not bombed by the USA ?

Israel should take Damascus, i hope they do it this year. This will press the alawites to let us to get to the coast. We build a good friendship with Israel from the sea.
