By Rudaw 1/7/2018
A suicide car bombing targeted an election warehouse in Kirkuk early Sunday morning.

Initial reports form security sources indicate 15 members of the security forces were injured as well as a number of civilians. One person was reportedly killed.

Rakan al-Jabouri, acting governor of Kirkuk visited the site of the bombing. He said that the warehouse building was damaged, but the ballot boxes were not affected.

The car blew up at the main gate of the warehouse, a security source told AFP.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility.

A manual recount of the election, ordered by parliament, is due to begin in Kirkuk on Tuesday.
