ISIS cracks down on five confirmed Ebola cases among fighters: official

BAGHDAD, Iraq – The Islamic State (ISIS) incinerated the corpses of five militants who were suspected of contracting Ebola, an Iraqi health official indicated.

Faisal Ghazi, member of the Health Committee in Iraq’s council of ministries, said the five were incinerated in Mosul, the ISIS stronghold in Iraq.

“The Islamic State organization incinerated five militants infected with Ebola to prevent further spread of the disease in Mosul,” he said.

“ISIS had proof that these militants were infected with Ebola,” he added, without giving details of whether the fighters died of the disease or were killed and incinerated by the group.

The UN’s World Health Organization (WHO) had been investigating cases of Ebola in Mosul, following reports that some militants with Ebola symptoms had reported to a hospital in the city.

ISIS volunteers have poured into Iraq and Syria from around the world, including countries in Africa.

I can imagine what an ISIS ebola cure would be - a bullet to the head. Keep going Kurds, keep killing those ISIS monsters. Twice wounded US combat vet (AK round then RPG.)

The question is how did Ebola get there?, this is a very serious issue because it might spread across the entire region. I'm not buying the story of some African ISIL members carrying it with them to Mosul because 1. Ebola kills in a matter of days, they wouldn't get to Mosul but would have died on the way 2. Ebola has spread in few west African countries which are manly Christian or have no jihadist movements. I think we're looking at a biological attack, and that's playing with fire.

What worries me is the thousands of displaced refugees still pouring in to Kurdistan, people coming from Mosul and all surrounding areas should be quarantined in special camps from now on, if we don't have the capability to quarantine then we should stop taking in more people. We're only 5.5 million and have already taken in 2 million refugees! enough is enough! we can't endanger our entire population with ebola, we can't save everyone in iraq.

I love it...I hope every IShole gets Ebola. They deserve that and more pain for their atrocities against the innocent.
