The eastern side of Mosul has been fully liberated, but there is still some fear on its streets. The group spread such fear that most people still hesitate to talk about it.

The fear some people have is of possible sleeper cells and those who pledged allegiance to the radical group and are still living in the city as civilians.

"There are many ISIS people who have gone to other neighborhoods," one Mosul resident having breakfast at one of the city' popular restaurants told Rudaw. "No one knows them. For example, if you're from Sukar and I'm from Hadba, I wouldn't know who you are. This is our main problem. Those people must all be detained."

Life and business is slowly normalizing, but there are still traces of ISIS. But many believe the issue of the ISIS sleeper cells must be addressed. "All those sleeper cells must be detained one by one," a coffee man on the street said.
