Used car markets return to Mosul after ISIS

By Rudaw 18/5/2017
-
Your attention will be drawn by the voice and singing of car dealers when you approach car exhibitions in Mosul.

The chants were forbidden during the reign of ISIS.

Most cars in Mosul are old and carry the scars of war. That is why there are cars sold for as cheap as $500 in these exhibitions.

Some cars in Mosul are without documentation. Drivers are waiting for the city’s administration to find a solution for them.

No new cars were sent to Mosul in the past 3 years because of the ISIS rule in the city.

Arabic saying is if you are with a Mosul citizen and a snake, kill the citizen first to survive. They had a hand in what happend to the Ezidi, we should never forget it. Are they victims now? Add poor Shabak to that list.
