ERBIL, Kurdistan Region—The Turkish army bombarded Afrin in Rojava, northern Syria, killing six Kurdish Peoples Protection Units (YPG) fighters and injuring eight civilians.

The Turkish army attacked Sorka village in the Rajo sub-district in Afrin with heavy weapons. Their target was a YPG outpost. Six were killed and eight civilians and Rojava Asayesh (security forces) were injured, the YPG stated.

The media close to the YPG reported that during the Turkish attack on Afrin, Turkish drones were flying over the area. When civilians tried to reach injured YPG fighters and help them, the Turkish army opened fire on the civilians, injuring several.

It's possible that Erdogan loyalists have been put selectively into command positions in the Army's operation. I hope that's true, because if it is, the odds are high that they'll do something REALLY barbaric, utterly in violation of the Geneva Convention. ... At that point, we shall discover if Europe and my America still know the meaning of the word "honor".

From bad to worse. Not only Erdogan's hatred of Kurds is only matched with Hitler's of Jews, but the crazy Middle East Führer is spreading his paranoia to his his military and his fellow Turks.

Yet another provocation by Turkey towards Rojava. YPG are not targeting Turkey so uncle Sam needs to contain Erdogan ASAP, otherwise the whole ISIS front will collapse, aybe that was Erdogans plan all along?

And the so called Kurdistan Region still has diplomatic relations with terrorist Turkey! Not a shred of honor in KRG!
