In pictures: Joyful Syrians take to the streets of regime-held Damascus
Life goes on and is normal in the capital Damascus, according to state news.
Early on Saturday, France, the United States and United Kingdom conducted joint airstrikes against alleged chemical weapons facilities and military installations in Damascus and Homs. SANA claims most of the 110 missiles were shot down.

They wave the flag of the government of Damascus, claiming that Western rumors of people are in a state of despair and chaos is “baseless” and a “lie."
People are seen flashing the 'V' sign and walking on streets and in bazaars.
