People in US capital make the most of frigid temps

By Rebaz Ali 4/1/2018
-
Washington, D.C., is known for its cold winters, but this year, temperatures have dropped to nearly minus-20 Celsius.

The Potomac is frozen, halting boat traffic.

The reflecting pool in front of the Capitol has also frozen.

Police are doing their best to help the homeless and keep people off of the potentially distance frozen waters.

Another more intense cold wave has been forecast to hit the area over the next few days.

Freezing is a better word than frigid. We tend to use 'frigid' for wives who are reluctant to fulfill their marital obligations of a sensitive nature!

Turks gain nothing by having Kurds within their country. They should be the ones who want to divide. Very strange.
