LONDON – Coffins carrying the bodies of two British volunteers who died fighting ISIS alongside the YPG in northern Syria arrived in London’s Heathrow Airport on Wednesday.

The bodies of Jac Holmes and Oliver Hall were met by family members, other volunteers, and members of Britain’s Kurdish community who came to pay their respects to the two men.

The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all.The brave die never, though they sleep in dust: their courage nerves a thousand living men’s remember It doesn’t take a hero to order men into battle! It takes hero to be one of those men who goes into battle! Rest in peace my real hero’s. ✌🏼
