Hundreds of thousands of Muslims from Myanmar have fled to neighboring Bangladesh into makeshift camps.
One border camp in Ukhiya is southernmost Bangladesh, some 325 kilometers southeast of the capital of Dhaka.
People tell stories of violence they faced at the hands of their country’s army, called Myanmar or Burma.
A fourth-grader in one of the camps has a wound that he says came from a bullet that was fired by Myanmar soldiers.
He says in the camps say there is no medical care or education.
They are looking for the international community to ease their situation.
