Palestinians in tents in Gaza's southern city of Khan Younis are eagerly waiting for Sunday when a ceasefire agreement will take effect so they can return to their homes and start rebuilding their lives, after 15 months of a bloody war that took the lives of tens of thousands.

Hundreds of Palestinian students in the Gaza Strip continue to study in makeshift camps amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the enclave, which turned educational infrastructure into ruins.

More than a year into Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, pregnant women are suffering from a lack of healthcare and nutrition compounded by the hardships of displacement.

Beyond food, shelter, and safety, many of the nearly 2 million Gazans who have been displaced in Israel’s year-long campaign of aggression lack or are finding it difficult to obtain a basic necessity - footwear.
