Fate of trade on Iraqi ports as Iran-Israel war escalates

Iraq has four main commercial ports: Umm Qasr, Al Maqal Port (Port of Basra), Khor al-Zubayr, and Abu Flous ports. From January to April of this year, the revenue of these ports was more than 418.2 billion dinars.

The continuation of this trade, however, hinges on the outcome of the ongoing war, which has closed Iraqi airspace to civilian aircraft for over a week while leaving maritime and land routes untouched.
