The award jury praised the campaign as a "strong brand expression," highlighting its ability to communicate Rudaw's editorial vision and cultural values through branding and design.
Presented annually since 2016, the German Brand Award recognizes excellence in brand strategy and management and is regarded as one of Europe's leading honors in the field. Previous recipients include global companies such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Bosch, Siemens, Lufthansa, SAP, and Deutsche Telekom.
The recognition comes just two days after another international success for Rudaw's Creative Department. On Thursday, creative director Didar Dilshad received the Motion Design Awards' "Video of the Day" honor for the project Plan A Opener (Rudaw Media Network), recognizing the team's work in motion design and visual storytelling.
The latest accolade marks the fourth international award won by Rudaw's Creative Department over the past year. Previous honors include the French Design Award, the Stevie Award, and the Motion Design Awards, reflecting continued international recognition for the department's work in branding, animation, and design.
Mohammed al-Safar, director of Rudaw Media Network's Creative Department, said the awards reflect the team's dedication and talent.
"These awards are a testament to the exceptional talent of Rudaw's creative team. Design is the art that people see daily on their screens. We will continue to work tirelessly to showcase the innovation, authenticity, and artistic talent of Kurdish youth through world-class work," Safar said.
The four international awards reinforce the network's standing as one of the region's leading innovative media organizations, demonstrating that globally recognized branding, design, animation, and storytelling can emerge from the Kurdistan Region.
