Sulaimani’s Department of Archeology has compiled a list of 106 houses in its list of sites which need to be acquired by the Kurdistan Regional Government in order to be revitalized to their former prominence.
Owners are compensated for the acquisitions. Then the government often rents restored sites to able tenets.
