5.7 magnitude earthquake strikes Iran-Iraq border: EMSC
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - At least 31 people have been injured in an earthquake which struck near the Iran-Iraq border on Sunday afternoon, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA.
The epicenter of the 5.7 magnitude quake struck Gilan Gharb in Kermanshah province. There are currently no reports of fatalities.

A powerful 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the border in late November 2018.
A year earlier, a 7.3 magnitude quake hit the same region, causing widespread damage and killing 600 people.
