Most attacks in Rojhelat on Saturday hit Ilam

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - On Saturday, several military and security bases of the Islamic Republic of Iran in western Iran (Rojhelat) were targeted with aircraft, drones, and missiles. Eight days have passed since the start of the war between the United States and Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and so far the number of casualties and the full list of locations that have been targeted have not been officially announced.

Compared to previous days, on Saturday the most attacks in Rojhelat targeted Ilam province, while the fewest attacks targeted Lorestan province.

Ilam province

Early Saturday morning, in the city of Ilam, police stations No. 13 and 14 in the squares of (Sadoqi and Abolfazl) were bombed. In Chavar city, the IRGC command headquarters and a police base were targeted.

Also on Saturday morning, the IRGC’s Farajian Zadeh barracks near Ilam city were bombed. The barracks is described as a training site where soldiers and officers of the IRGC receive training.

Around two hours after noon, the former police base in Darreh Shahr city of Ilam province was attacked, and several nearby houses and buildings were damaged.

In Mehran city, the central police base and the central building responsible for organizing the sending of pilgrims to Shiite holy sites in Iraq were bombed. A mosque near the center was also damaged. According to reports published by human rights organizations, some Iranian security and military forces have been stationed in mosques, schools, stadiums, and other civilian places.

Today, two military bases in Dehloran city were also bombed. One of the targeted locations was the border guard command headquarters of Dehloran. A resident who recorded a video of the bombing of the Dehloran border guard headquarters said, “It was hit five times and was completely destroyed.”

Murad Yeganeh, the governor of Dehloran, announced that “both locations are outside the city and there were no human casualties.”

In Abdanan city, several explosions were heard early this morning, but it is not clear which locations were targeted. Late Friday night in Abdanan, the IRGC command headquarters and two police bases were bombed.

Urmia province

Early Saturday morning, a target inside Urmia city was bombed. Media outlets reported that a police base near the city’s main terminal was targeted.

Also around 7:00 in the morning today, the IRGC’s Al-Mahdi barracks, located 20 kilometers from Urmia city, was attacked again.

This afternoon, the police command center in Tikab city was bombed. On Friday, the IRGC command headquarters in the same city had also been attacked.

Kermanshah province

At noon on Saturday, a target inside Kermanshah city was bombed.

The public relations office of the Kermanshah governorate announced that this evening inside Kermanshah city and at 10:30 am in Qasr-e Shirin, two drones were shot down.

Earlier today before noon, two locations in Gilan-e Gharb city in Kermanshah province were targeted.

According to published information, the main IRGC base and the police command center in the city were attacked. The police base collapsed and several nearby houses were also damaged.

Sanandaj province

On Saturday, several locations in the cities of Sanandaj and Divandarreh in Sanandaj province were bombed.

So far, attacks on the IRGC’s Borujerdi military base, Imam Ali barracks, and police and IRGC bases in the villages of Doshan, Qar, and Abbas Awa on the outskirts of Sanandaj have been confirmed.

On Saturday, the IRGC base inside Divandarreh city was also targeted.

IRGC media published photos of the bombed location and according to the images, the base appears to have been completely destroyed, while several nearby cars, houses, and buildings were damaged. The Hana human rights organization reported that a large number of IRGC forces were killed in the bombing, but the casualties have not yet been officially announced. At least one civilian resident was killed in the attack.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network announced on Saturday that IRGC forces forced the administrations of Besat and Towhid hospitals in Sanandaj to evacuate several sections and transfer them to other hospitals.

However, after the reports were published, Shoala Shahghaibi, the head of Kurdistan province’s medical university, said that only the maternity ward of Besat hospital was transferred to a Social Security hospital. She added that “the transfer was done to reduce psychological pressure on the women who are giving birth.”

Lorestan province

Compared to previous days, the number of attacks on Saturday was lower.

On Saturday, the main IRGC headquarters in the city of Kuhdasht was bombed. The base is inside the city and near residential areas, and the surrounding area was also damaged.
