Rare traditional Kurdish wedding adds color, evokes memories among villagers

At the village of Zalan, a rare traditional Kurdish wedding takes place against the backdrop of autumn, adding natural beauty to the colors of the ceremony.

At this village in the town of Chwarta that lies 60 kilometers from Sulaimani city, all the guests today are dressed in traditional Kurdish clothes.

 

It was the groom’s family that decided to preserve this ancestral culture and tradition.
