Suspected drone spotted in Erbil, loud sound heard
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – An object believed to be a suicide drone was spotted in the sky over Erbil early Sunday, amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
Footage obtained by Rudaw captured what appeared to be an object flying over the city. The suspected drone was reportedly downed by US forces.
Local authorities and the US mission in Erbil have not yet commented on the incident.

This comes amid exchange of attacks between Israel and Iran. The conflict started on Friday when Israel carried out deadly airstrikes against Iranian military and nuclear sites. Several Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists have been killed.
