ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - US Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack on Saturday met with Kurdish leaders from the Kurdistan Region and northeast Syria (Rojava) in Erbil, discussing a range of topics.
President Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP); Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani; Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Mazloum Abdi; and Kurdish National Council (ENKS) leader Mohammed Ismail were among the attendees of the high-level meeting.
President Barzani's office said in a statement that "discussions and exchanges of views took place on several topics, and steps were outlined to advance mutual understanding and constructive action."
