Rudaw Media Network wins international Stevie Award for rebranding

Rudaw Media Network's Creative Division has won a Silver Stevie Award at the Stevie Awards for the Middle East and North Africa, in recognition of its 2025 digital rebranding initiative.

The network's entry - submitted in the Innovation in Rebranding category - drew praise from judges for repositioning Rudaw as a contemporary player in the global media landscape. The Stevie Awards attract more than 12,000 entries annually from across the world.

This is Rudaw's seventh Stevie Award overall, following six wins across 2023, 2024, and 2025. The network now stands alongside repeat Stevie honorees, including Netflix, Amazon, Google, and Apple.

"They have done exceptional work in redefining themselves as a modern participant in the world of media," the awards jury said.

Mohammed Safar, Head of Rudaw's Creative Division, credited the win to his team's sustained drive for innovation. "We will keep bringing the full creative potential of Kurdistan's youth to the world through design," he said.

The award marks Rudaw Creative's second international recognition this year, following a French Design Award earlier in 2026 for best concept.

The Stevie Awards for Middle East and North Africa were established in 2019 to honor innovators across a range of industries in the region.
