ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke on the phone on Monday, reported Turkish state media.
Anadolu Agency cited unnamed sources from the Turkish foreign ministry as saying Barzani and Fidan discussed the “latest developments” in the region.
The Turkish foreign ministry and the Kurdish presidency have yet to comment on the meeting.
