ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — US-led coalition airstrikes targeted a kerosene refinery on the western Dijla front in western Mosul on Sunday, destroying the facility, Captain Dilshad Maulood, a media officer to the Zeravani Peshmerga command, told Rudaw.

“With the help of our intelligence information, the airstrikes successfully managed to destroy the factory ISIS snipers had taken advantage of; here, they frequently targeted Peshmerga from the factory,” Maulood said.

“A number of the ISIS militants were killed inside the factory,” he added.
