Israel-Iran war hits Syria’s nascent tourism sector

With the outbreak of war between Israel and Iran, Syria’s nascent tourism sector has come to a halt. The Syrian tourism minister told Rudaw that efforts are underway to repair and renovate tourist sites, but it remains unclear how the project can proceed amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
