US says three service members killed in war with Iran
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - US army said on Sunday that three of its service members have been killed and five others "seriously wounded" during the ongoing war with Iran.
"As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury," said US Central Command (CENTCOM) in a statement.

"Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing," added the statement.
US and Israeli conducted coordinated strikes against Iran on Friday, targeting key military sites and the country's rulers, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei - who was confirmed dead by Tehran on Sunday.
Iran has vowed to retaliate the death of Khamenei and top commanders and launched another salvo of missiles on Sunday.
