When people think of the controversial immigration debate in the United States, they mostly think of Hispanic immigrants who cross over the border from Mexico . However this minority is not the only one affected by the United States’ complex immigration laws.
Over the past 50 years the number of African immigrants residing in America has almost doubled - and like other newcomers, they want their voices heard.
