ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A Kurdish teenager has earned a UEFA B coaching certificate and become the head coach of an under-15 Norwegian women’s football team.

"It is a great honor for me to coach in Europe as a Kurdish girl and teach football to Norwegian and European women," she told Rudaw on Thursday, thanking her father and family for their support.
Her father, Qais Blbas, a veteran athlete from Erbil, said he was proud of her achievements.
"I am sure that she is a talented Kurdish coach and is the pride of every Kurd," he said.
