Refugees hung up at Hungary-Serbia border growing angry, desperate

A Rudaw correspondent on the Hungary-Serbia border reported that hundreds of refugees in Röszke camp on the border are protesting and asking for the right to leave the country.

The correspondent, Kani Halabjayi, said, “The refugees are Syrians, Iraqis and Kurds asking Hungary not to take their fingerprints and let them pass the border, but the security forces are refusing to.”

Halabjayi added: “The refugees in Röszke camp are living in very bad conditions and waiting for the Hungarian and Serbian governments to let them pass the border and go to Germany and other European countries.”
