The National Museum of Amna Suraka in Sulaimani, along with other sections dedicated to the Anfal and chemical bombing tragedies that the Kurds suffered at the hands of the Baathist regime in Iraq, has dedicated a section to the Peshmerga victims in the fight against ISIS.

In the museum, portraits of Peshmerga and Kurdish fighters in Rojava, Syria along with their remnants including uniforms which still bear blood and other visible scars of war are also exhibited.

Another section of the museum has been dedicated to the slain journalists in the fight against ISIS, including Rudaw’s Shifa Gardi.
