ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Israel’s prime minister claimed Iran has a “secret atomic warehouse” in Tehran.

“In May, we exposed the site of Iran’s secret atomic archive. Today, I’m revealing the site of a second facility – Iran’s secret atomic warehouse,” Benjamin Netanyahu told the UN General Assembly on Thursday.

Holding up a map and a photograph of a building, Netanyahu said the warehouse stored “massive amounts of equipment and material from Iran’s secret nuclear weapons program,” claiming Iran has not given up its goal of developing a nuclear weapon.

In a live televised address earlier this year, Netanyahu revealed thousands of documents he alleged were related to Iran’s pursuit of a nuclear weapon.

“Tonight, I’m here to tell you one thing – Iran lied. Big time,” he said at the time, claiming to have evidence that Iran had retained materials related to its Project Amad nuclear program.

Speaking about two weeks before US President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA, Netanyahu said the agreement had failed to curtail Iran’s ambitions.

Analysts noted that the information dramatically revealed by Netanyahu was already public knowledge.
