Three young girls pour their love for their country into their music.
Kurdistan is 14 years old, Nishtiman – meaning homeland – is 11, and Alla – meaning flag – is 8.
Coming from Rabat, near Sardasht in Iranian Kurdistan, this family now lives in Koya, Kurdistan Region.
Their father Anwar Azizyan, who had dreamed of being an artist when he was young, now supports his daughters.
“I had to at some point communicate to my children the faith and love I have for my nation and homeland. Where should my children start in terms of love for this homeland? I instilled the spirit of music and literature in their hearts,” he said.
