Crimea was returned to Russia three years ago. Alongside its geopolitical importance, Crimea boasts some of the most beautiful women in Russia. This year their women had a visible participation. Rasina has come from the Crimean capital of Simferopol.
“This contest is important. Beauty finds itself in many things. Those features must be explored and shown. Women’s talents and skills must be shown and how they use it to fulfil their goals," Rasina said.
For a woman to win the contest she must prove her skills on stage in front of an audience and panel of judges. After a series of impressive acts a 22-year-old woman from Moscow named Anna Babeda won the Miss Pearl contest.
“I don’t know how to express my feeling about this win. I’ve different feelings," Babeda said. "I’m happy and at the same time excited to point of dizziness. I’m so happy that I feel unconscious.”
Beauty is definitely at play here, but the organizers focus on the skills and talents of the women as well as their inner beauty.
