SHARBAZHER, Kurdistan Region - A project launched by two friends in Sulaimani’s nature welcomes groups of families and friends who flock to the area to spend quality time.

Located in the city’s Sharbazher district, it provides visitors with different activities, including quad biking in the mountains and horse riding.

“I like to try new things. We came to this place today as it has a beautiful nature in this hot weather of Kurdistan … they have set a beautiful and nice place,” Frya Adil told Rudaw’s Nizar Jaza on Sunday.

Another visitor said “they brought horse riding and quad biking which is a very special thing.”

The horse riding is supervised by two experienced Kurdish trainers. They guide and help those who want to learn horse riding.

“We were the first people to come up with this idea in Sulaimani. People continue to visit and support us,” project co-founder Rawaz Omer said.

Tourists and visitors love the place and believe it can boost Sulaimani’s tourism sector.
