(AP) -- Tayebeh Ghafarpour, a rose water producer says, "Three types of rose water are produced in Qamsar; first grade, second grade and rectified rose water. To make the first grade rose water, 30 kilograms of petals are placed in the pot plus 50 litres of water. After distillation, you would have 40 litres of rose water. For second grade rose water, we add another 12 kilograms of fresh flower to the residue of the previous pot with 50 litres of water and extract 40 litres of second grade rose water. Finally, we get rid of flower remains in the pot and this time, instead of water, we pour the second grade in the pot and distill again. The product of this process is called rectified rose water which is a premium product."
