Iranian Kurdish fighters mark Peshmerga, flag day on snow-covered mountains

The Peshmerga fighters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, KDP-I marked the day their pary raised the Kurdish flag more than 70 years ago on Friday.

They gathered on the snow-capped mountains of Kurdistan on the border with Iran for a day of reunion, music and dance and the singing of the Kurdish national anthem of Ey Reqib.
