The British made air-to-ground Brimstone smart-missile has failed to kill any Islamic State (ISIS) members in Syria since Britain joining the American-led bombing campaign there last December according to The Independent.

This was revealed after a freedom of information request from the Huffington Post UK discovered that the missile has zero recorded kills in Syria to date.

The British Ministry of Defense estimates that the Royal Air Force has killed seven ISIS members in Syria to date. Five were killed by American-made Hellfire missiles while the other two were slayed by Paveway IV bombs.

Brimstones have been fired in a total of nine British airstrikes to date. Britain has touted the missile as a unique highly advanced and precise missile.

Saudi Arabia is the only other country which currently operates them.

Brimstones cost £100,000 each and can destroy ground targets seven miles away.
