An early snowfall has blanketed the Kurdish Erzurum area of eastern Turkey on Saturday.
Local officials reported that at least 12 centimetres of snow fell, surprising meteorologists.
Last week, the first snow fell on Mount Ararat, known in Turkish as Mount Agri.
