A Kurdish adventurer from Rojhelat (Iranian Kurdistan) is an accomplished climber having summited the world's five highest peaks.
He is a founding member of Halgurd Mountaineering Group.
“I am from Piranshahr in the Iranian province of West Azerbaijan. We established Halgurd Mountaineering Group in 2000," explained Haji Bayazid Nikbakht.
He has been awarded many prizes.
“In 2013 a group of mountaineers climbed the Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan which is 7,134 meters high. I am proud to be a member of that group," he added.

He climbs 20 kilometers in the mountains daily.
