ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The death toll of US troops in the war with Iran has risen to seven after a service member died from injuries sustained in an earlier Iranian attack, the US military said on Sunday.
The soldier passed away on Saturday night after being seriously wounded during an Iranian attack on US troops in Saudi Arabia on March 1, according to a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
The latest death brings the number of US troops killed in the conflict to seven, following earlier fatalities reported during Operation Epic Fury, the US-led military campaign against Iran.
