ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A private plane carrying 11 people from Istanbul left the runway when landing at Diyarbakir (Amed) airport on Saturday. All passengers were evacuated unharmed, reported state media.
Anadolu Agency reported that a plane, carrying 11 people, including a child, left the runway for unknown reasons after landing around noon.
All the passengers and the crew were evacuated and were in good health, according to AA.
The airport was closed to flights for several hours.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
